- Air Brakes (if your vehicle has them) — practice Air Brakes (40 questions)
- Any endorsement tests you need (P, S, H, N, T)

Wyoming endorsement tests and practice
- Hazmat (H) practice
Wyoming notes for this endorsement
Wyoming is NOT a TSA self-managed state. All hazmat applicants complete the federal TSA Security Threat Assessment, including fingerprinting at a TSA/IdentoGO (Universal Enroll) enrollment center — WYDOT directs applicants to universalenroll.dhs.gov (855-347-8371). Allow 30–60 days. First-time hazmat also requires ELDT-hazmat and the H knowledge test, applied in person; renewals must be done in person (not by mail) and repeat the assessment and knowledge test.
- Tanker (N) practice
Wyoming notes for this endorsement
Tank vehicles.
- Passenger (P) practice
Wyoming notes for this endorsement
Passenger (16+ persons, including the driver).
- School bus (S) practice

School bus; requires the P endorsement, on a Class A or B.
- Doubles/triples (T) practice
Wyoming notes for this endorsement
Double/triple trailers (Class A only).
The Wyoming skills test
Components: Pre-trip vehicle inspection, Basic vehicle control, On-road driving test.
Test vehicle: The State of Wyoming does not furnish vehicles. You must supply a CMV matching the license class you seek, meeting safety standards (no placarded or loaded commercial vehicles for the test).
Where and how to book: Testing is available at WYDOT driver license locations statewide (about 10 offices), scheduled through the WYDOT scheduling page. Third-party examiners are allowed but may only test their own employees, volunteers, or students, and may not charge a fee for the skills test.
Waits and retests: WYDOT does not publish typical wait-time figures.
Practice the inspection part with our pre-trip inspection guide. Research dated 2026-10-12; confirm testing details with Wyoming.
